These classes have been great fun and are now at level 3 and achieving phenomenal results with abaci! Miss Lizzie has been holding Activity Days in HALF TERM. During these days, spontaneous and planned games and activities, crafts and baking take place Miss Lizzie is taking her brand of fun and excitable learning into SCHOOLS, this can be part of ‘Golden Time’ every week or as a one-off. If you think your child’s school might benefit, do ask them to get in contact. The sessions use a mix of confidence-boosting activities, whole brain learning, neurobic dance sessions and crafts too. The most important thing to know about Miss Lizzie is that she cares so much about children’s learning and their self–awareness and confidence. The positive interaction between the child and teacher is key to achievement and this is where she is excelling. She uses her training in the KPM Approach every single day and the results are evident in the happiness the children express in and before/after the lessons. 07917704305 lizzie@busymisslizzie.com Artz + and Sportz + www.eastdorsetarts.org/artzplus/ School holiday arts and sports events for children with additional needs and their families. During the film, low lights are left on inside the auditorium and the volume of the soundtrack is reduced. Cinemagoers are free to move around, make a noise or take a break during the film if they need to - these are activities not usually encouraged at regular screenings. The cinema is often not a place that is easily accessible for families affected by autism. These screenings aim to make families feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed in an environment that can otherwise seem traumatic, enjoying a film with other families who experience similar issues.
